Fine ingredients and outstanding cookware – A love story at Ambiente 2012

For a perfect meal, three things are key: You need to use the best of ingredients, prepare them in high-quality cookware, and season them with a pinch of passion. The delights that can result when vegetables, meat, fish & Co. fall head over heels in love with premium pots, pans and knives are being demonstrated by the Fissler cookware experts at this year's Ambiente in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. And this is certainly a good match for the exhibition motto: Food loves Fissler.

There is no love sincerer than the love of food

Red hearts hover over the 2012 Fissler exhibition stand, showing visitors from far off that love and passion are truly important factors as far as cooking is concerned. Visitors to the stand can discover plenty of perfect couples - consisting of ingredients and cookware - at the Food loves Fissler stations. If they'd like to, they can try it themselves – by hand or on virtual slot machines on iPads. What pan is ideal for fish? Which one for meat? And what ingredients can be best cut with which knife?

The hub of the stand is the show kitchen, in which two chefs pamper guests with culinary delicacies and show Fissler products in action. Three theme areas radiate out from this hub - cooking, frying and preparing. This year, in the first of these areas, you will find the Love Kitchen. It is dedicated to luno, the new line for creative cooking. Anyone who cooks with these products will become familiar with The Art of Cooking à la Fissler. Visitors can learn about the variety of luno with the help of an interactive game. What ingredient loves the luno wok? Which one loves the roaster? And which one prefers to be cooked in the crêpe pan? A glowing heart tells you if your answer is right.

Paying another visit to the marketplace is also worthwhile. Here the new Focus shop system can be seen, along with a large selection of the product range.

Follow your heart

Very much in line with the motto of Love, Fissler is supporting Aktion Herzenssache (Action Matters of the Heart), a charitable campaign of the SWR, the SR, and the Sparda Bank, at this year's Ambiente. It supports projects that help children and young people - including some in Fissler's homeland of Rhineland-Palatinate. Hostesses are distributing heart-shaped balloons, to which participation cards are attached. For every card that is filled out and handed in at the Fissler stand, Fissler will donate one Euro to the campaign.
